READ CAREFULLY. The statements below are representations you make to Synapse Research Lab LLC. They are material to our decision to supply you with research compounds and will be relied upon by us. Knowingly false statements may give rise to civil liability and may be unlawful under applicable consumer- protection, fraud, and customs laws.
1. Acceptance
By ticking the acceptance box at account creation and at checkout, by completing a purchase, or by otherwise accepting this Acknowledgement through any clickwrap or signature mechanism, you confirm that the statements in Sections 2 through 9 below are true, accurate, and complete with respect to you and each Order you place. This Acknowledgement is incorporated into the Terms of Use and is governed by them.
2. Eligibility
- I am at least 18 years of age, or, if I am accessing the Site or placing an Order from within the United States or any U.S. territory, at least 21 years of age.
- I have the legal capacity to enter into this Acknowledgement and to comply with the Terms of Use.
3. Researcher Status
- I am a Qualified Researcher as defined in the Terms of Use. I am affiliated with, employed by, or otherwise authorized to procure research materials on behalf of a bona fide research, analytical, academic, or industrial institution, laboratory, or enterprise.
- I am qualified by training, education, and experience to handle, store, use, and dispose of research chemicals safely and lawfully.
- I have access to the equipment, controls, and facilities reasonably required for the safe handling of research compounds, including appropriate personal protective equipment, fume controls, and waste management.
4. Use Restrictions
I acknowledge and agree that every Product is supplied strictly:
- For Research Use Only, for in vitro laboratory investigation and analytical purposes;
- Not for human or animal consumption by any route, including but not limited to ingestion, injection, infusion, inhalation, intranasal, ocular, sublingual, buccal, topical, transdermal, or any other route of administration; and
- Not for diagnostic, therapeutic, prophylactic, cosmetic, performance-enhancement, food, or feed use, and not to be compounded, repackaged, re-labeled, or resupplied as fit for human or animal use.
5. Regulatory Status
- I understand that the Products are not drugs, supplements, cosmetics, foods, food additives, medical devices, or finished pharmaceutical products.
- I understand that no Product has been evaluated, reviewed, approved, cleared, licensed, or registered by the FDA, the MHRA, the EMA, the TGA, Health Canada, or by any other regulatory authority for any human or animal use.
- I will not represent, market, advertise, label, or supply any Product as a drug, supplement, cosmetic, food, or medical device.
6. Self-Use Waiver
I acknowledge that if, contrary to this Acknowledgement and the Terms of Use, I or any other person uses a Product in or on the human or animal body — including any self-administration, injection, ingestion, inhalation, or topical application — such use is solely my own decision, made on my own independent professional judgment, without any reliance on any statement of Synapse, and entirely at my own risk. I voluntarily and irrevocably release Synapse Research Lab LLC and the Synapse Indemnitees from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising out of or relating to any such use, whether known or unknown, suspected or unsuspected, and whether based in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise.
7. Local Law & Import
- I am responsible for verifying that the import, possession, storage, use, and onward transfer of each Product is lawful in my jurisdiction and in any jurisdiction through which the Product will transit.
- I will obtain at my expense any licence, permit, customs declaration, or institutional approval that may be required.
- I accept all risk of customs inspection, detention, seizure, forfeiture, or non-delivery resulting from my jurisdiction's rules or from inaccurate information I provide.
8. Truthfulness; Identity
- All information I have provided to Synapse, including my identity, age, researcher status, billing address, shipping address, and payment method, is true, accurate, current, and complete.
- I authorise Synapse and its service providers to verify any information I provide, including through age verification, sanctions screening, address verification, and identity-document checks, where reasonably appropriate.
- I will promptly update Synapse if any information I provided becomes inaccurate.
9. Acknowledgement of Risk Allocation
- I have read and understood the disclaimers in Section 15 and the limitation of liability in Section 16 of the Terms of Use.
- I agree that the limitations on remedies, on liability, and on dispute resolution (including binding arbitration in Wyoming and the class-action waiver) are reasonable and necessary in light of the price paid for the Products and the research-only basis of supply.
10. Effect of False Statements
Synapse may rely on each of the statements above as a continuing representation. Any false or misleading statement constitutes a material breach of the Terms of Use, immediately voids all warranties and remedies, may justify cancellation of pending and future Orders, and may give rise to civil and (where applicable) criminal liability. Synapse reserves all rights and remedies available in law and equity.
